Jaybird Exteriors is a family-owned company based in Hamilton, Ontario. Since starting the company in May of 2018, Jaybird has quickly become known for its friendly, knowledgeable, and quality service.
In the past, the company has taken on a wide variety of projects, from small drywall repairs to building a third-storey addition from start to finish. The team is committed not only to doing their best on every project, but also to making sure that they keep getting better.
It’s for this reason that they specialize in
exterior projects, so that they keep honing their skills, dialling in their efficiency, and giving their customers the absolute best product the industry can offer.

Founder
RYAN VANDENHAAK
Ryan Vandenhaak is the owner, lead installer, and project manager at Jaybird Exteriors. With over 15 years of experience in building and renovations, Ryan understands how buildings work and how and why they can fail.
Having worked in many different areas of the industry (new construction, large and small-scale renovations, and troubleshooting and repairs), Ryan has the experience to find products and solutions appropriate to your unique needs.
Ryan started Jaybird Renovations in order to work in Hamilton, where he lives with his wife Cassandra and their two kids. He spends a little bit too much time organizing his tools and gets really excited about nerdy building science articles that discuss the dew point in high-performance wall assemblies or vapour-permeable waterproofing membranes.
