“As the reno was a full exterior, Ryan gave me 3 different price points (different materials) to choose from outlining the benefits of each. The guys worked efficiently and cleaned up at the end of every day.

“Ryan came to our house after a couple pieces of siding had fallen off during some periods of high wind in Jan 2025. At the time we were still considering what level of renovation we wanted to do; whether to just replace the missing pieces, redo certain parts of the house or redo the entire thing.
“After consulting with Ryan, he was more than willing to help fix our problem in the short term by replacing the missing pieces. He also walked us through our different options in regard to the different levels of renovations we were considering. He priced them all out and even added pricing for additional insulation to be installed and if we were to have aluminum work done as well.
“Ryan offered a very competitive price and after seeing initial reviews on here describing his attention to detail, level of communication and overall job satisfaction, we decided to hire Ryan for our project.
“Ryan did a fantastic job replacing all of the siding on our house. The finished product looks absolutely amazing and is better than what we could have ever expected. It did take a bit longer than it would have if we went with a different company but…
We took solace in the fact we knew it was being done by one person which made it feel more trustworthy and thorough.
“Other details future customers might appreciate as well is that he cleaned up every day before he left, made sure to accommodate any needs we had such as being able to allow our neighbours to still have access to the shared driveway, and replaced any products such as window well covers that accidentally got damaged in the process. Any issues or concerns that we did discover along the way were dealt with in a timely fashion, even if a few reminders were needed during it all which was understandable with such a large project.

“I give Ryan & Jaybird Exteriors my Highest recommendation. He was absolutely amazing to work with, flexible with requests, and fair on pricing.
“Starting last summer, I had at least 6 other local exterior contractors (including a few big local companies) come by to give me quotes. Half didn't even follow up with the quote or they gave me the run around when I had follow-up questions.
“By the early fall, Jaybird Exteriors was recommended to me by a neighbour who planned to hire Ryan for a second project, so I took the recommendation seriously, and I'm very happy I did.

“The attention to detail was so impressive. Little things like the custom cuts he made so the receptacles sit flush, the care he took with vents, and the perfect caulking around windows and doors.
“He made suggestions where I needed it, resulting in a better end product, like the clean black metal edging instead of the standard Hardie product.
